Flame of Hope to Be Featured at World’s Biggest Music Festival

The Glastonbury Festival in the U.K., the world’s largest music festival, attracts more than 200,000 people every year. This year, the Flame of Hope has been invited to attend the mega festival that runs from June 26-30, 2024.

The Flame of Hope will be joined by a distinguished team of Israeli and Palestinian figures committed to peace who have worked for reconciliation and change in Israel, Palestine and globally: Peace entrepreneur and TED 2024 speaker Maoz Inon, esteemed peacebuilder Hamze Awawde, activist Danielle Bett of Yachad, a leading British peace movement, and Hiba Qasas, a prominent peacebuilder and the development leader at the Principles for Peace Foundation.

“Hope is an action,” says Maoz. “It is possible to create a peaceful and bright future if we act on that hope, by envisioning a better future and taking collective steps to create it, together.”

Spreading the Flame of Hope Message

Festival organizers Sir Michael Eavis and his daughter Emily decided to dedicate this year’s festival to one theme: One Peace – One Humanity – No sides. It was with this in mind that the Flame of Hope was invited to be featured at the festival’s Opening Ceremony and at a mass meditation event to be led by Flame of Hope Founder Rev. Ryokyu Endo from Japan.

Also on hand to perform at the Opening Ceremony will be Aminadabu, the official Flame of Hope band. The band will also perform a solo venue at Toad Hall on Sunday, June 30th. In addition, the Flame of Hope team will conduct daily Magical Ki Meditation workshops for kids and adults, lead daily healing interfaith chanting sessions, and offer Tao Shiatsu treatments to the public.

Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts is a five-day festival of contemporary performing arts held near Pilton, Somerset, England, in most summers. In addition to contemporary music, the festival hosts dance, comedy, theatre, circus, cabaret, and other arts.

Join us at Glastonbury for inspiring moments as these leaders light the way towards a brighter, united future!
